Bath Academy’s Junior Summer School is the perfect environment for teenagers to develop their English and make new friends in a caring, enriching and fun atmosphere. Learn English & explore the UNESCO Heritage city of Bath at our city centre campus, surrounded by stunning architecture and historical wonders.

Our creative and dynamic lessons motivate students to engage with topics and provide meaningful skills practice while enhancing their vocabulary and grammar. We offer both residential and home-stay options and an exciting afternoon and evening activity programme.

What is the admissions process?

Contact Bath Academy with your questions and a member of staff will help you. You will also be asked to complete an Application Form.

How many students join Bath Academy Summer Programmes each year?

Between 60 and 120 throughout the summer period with a varied nationality mix and students from all around the world.

What is the accommodation like?

In Bath, we offer both homestay and residential accommodation. All meals are provided to students.

Is there an age limit for your courses?

For Bath Junior Summer School ages are 12 – 17.

What measures have Bath Academy taken to ensure my child remains safe at the college?

We ensure:

  • An extremely safe classroom environment
  • Excellent student to staff ratio (average 1:10)
  • All staff are DBS-checked and trained in welfare and safeguarding issues
  • Regular meetings with group leaders to ensure safety of students

What are some of the unique features of Bath Academy?

We are centrally located in the heart of Bath in a friendly, flexible college environment where all students are supported to achieve their academic and English-learning goals. International students get to experience first-hand what learning at an academic college is like which is a great foundation for further learning.
